Byeon Woo-seok (边佑锡) is a 33-year-old Korean actor known for his roles in dramas and films. Scouted in high school, he began his career as a model at 19, walking in local and international fashion shows. After failing over 100 auditions, he successfully transitioned to acting in 2016, starting with minor roles.
Despite facing criticism and camera anxiety, he persisted and worked hard to overcome them. In 2024, his role in Lovely Runner brought him massive attention and widespread popularity, earning him a wide range of awards. He also sang the original soundtrack for the series, winning multiple awards.
Byeon is admired for his dedication, hard work and philanthropy. He is currently the brand ambassador and advertising model for around 20 domestic and global brands. After eight years of perseverance, he became an overnight sensation. His challenging journey to stardom is truly inspiring.
