【明报专讯】The Central-Kowloon Bypass (中九龙干线) opened on 21 December 2025. It is a highway connecting Yau Ma Tei and Lam Tin . On its first day of operation, the bypass recorded 57,000 vehicle trips. An official from the Transport Department say the bypass will help alleviate traffic congestion in some heavily congested areas during rush hour, such as Hung Hom and Yau Ma Tei.
