◆Tanzania/Kenya Kanga

The kanga is a colourful cotton fabric traditionally worn by women in Tanzania and Kenya, two countries in East Africa, often wrapped around the body and adorned with messages that convey cultural values. Sayings like ''Money is not everything'' express important life lessons. Each kanga is unique, reflecting local traditions and artistic expression.

◆Scotland Kilt

The kilt is a knee-length garment traditionally worn by men, featuring pleats only at the back and made from woolen tartan fabric. Tartan, a patterned textile with a checked pattern in various colours, represents different Scottish clans and symbolises heritage. Once everyday attire, kilts provided comfort and freedom of movement for outdoor tasks. The Huipil is a traditional embroidered blouse worn by indigenous women in Maya communities of Mexico. Known for its vibrant colours and detailed designs, each Huipil is unique and symbolises the wearer's identity while reflecting their village and family history. Handwoven using age-old techniques, Huipiles are worn in everyday life and ceremonies.
